A master of physical comedy and absurd characters, he rose from TV auditions to become one of Indonesia's most recognizable and beloved comic actors.
Sule, born Sutisna, won the national comedian audition show with his team SOS in 2005, launching a late-career breakthrough. His rubber-faced expressions, signature high-pitched voice, and oddball characters made him a television fixture. He hosted wildly popular variety and talk shows, showcasing improvisational skills and warm guest interactions. Beyond comedy, he has acted in dramatic roles and released music. His inclusive, family-friendly humor has made him a cherished national entertainer.

The latchkey kids. Raised during divorce, recession, and the end of the Cold War. Skeptical, self-reliant, media-literate. They invented indie culture, grunge, and the early internet — then watched the Boomers take credit.
Sule was born in 1976, placing them squarely in the Generation X. The events that shaped this generation — economic uncertainty, the end of the Cold War, and the rise of personal computing — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
