Biography
Sean Murray's life has been intertwined with television sets for decades. The stepson of NCIS producer Donald P. Bellisario, he was practically raised on soundstages, making his acting debut as a teenager. His first major role was a memorable one: the eternally adolescent Thackery Binx in the cult classic 'Hocus Pocus.' But it was a guest spot on the military drama 'JAG' that changed everything, introducing the character of computer whiz Timothy McGee. When the 'NCIS' spinoff launched, McGee began as a recurring tech specialist, but Murray's earnest and intelligent portrayal made him indispensable. Over more than twenty seasons, he has guided McGee from a green probie to a seasoned senior field agent and published novelist, becoming the emotional anchor of the series.
