A durable and powerful Czech skater whose consistent quadruple jumps and charismatic performances made him a staple at European and world championships for over a decade.
Michal Březina won silver at the World Junior Championships in 2009. He carried Czech figure skating through four Olympic appearances, qualifying for the Grand Prix Final multiple times and landing on the European podium in 2013. Trained in Olomouc, he deployed one of the most reliable quadruple salchows in the sport. His programs, often set to rock or film scores, combined athletic power with theatrical flair. Březina never won a world or Olympic medal, but his longevity and sportsmanship made him a respected pillar of the international skating community.
