A sharp-witted English character actor who stole scenes as a hapless thief in Westeros and a mischievous child in the Nanny McPhee universe.
With a distinctive look and a knack for delivering dry, intelligent humor, Eros Vlahos emerged as a memorable young character actor in British film and television. He first caught attention as the scheming, dirt-smudged Cyril Gray in 'Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang,' holding his own alongside Emma Thompson. His most culturally indelible role, however, was as Lommy Greenhands in 'Game of Thrones'—the wise-cracking orphan whose fate at the hands of the Hound provided one of the show's early, brutal shocks. Vlahos later displayed his range in a recurring role as a young Niccolò Machiavelli in 'Da Vinci's Demons,' bringing historical wit to the fantasy series. While less active in recent years, his performances from the 2010s remain standout examples of precise juvenile character work that avoided cliché.
1981–1996
The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Eros was born in 1995, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
