A powerful Fijian flyer whose explosive speed and try-scoring prowess have electrified clubs in both the NRL and the European Super League.
Waqa Blake's rugby league story is one of raw, Pacific Island talent refined on the world's toughest stages. Hailing from Fiji, he moved to Australia as a teenager, his athleticism quickly marking him as a special prospect. He broke into the NRL with the Penrith Panthers, where his combination of sheer pace, formidable strength, and a knack for finishing made him a constant threat on the wing. A mid-career move to the Parramatta Eels saw him solidify his reputation as a top-tier outside back. In 2024, he brought his game to England, signing with the historic Bradford Bulls, aiming to add a new chapter of success in the Super League while remaining a key figure for the Fijian national team.

Waqa was born in 1994, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
