A versatile German endurance racing specialist who conquered the grueling 24 Hours of Le Mans and other classic sports car events.
Ralf Kelleners built a long and respected career not in the spotlight of Formula One, but in the demanding world of international sports car racing. Hailing from Düsseldorf, he climbed the ranks through German touring car series before finding his true calling in GT and prototype endurance events. His skill behind the wheel was defined by consistency and mechanical sympathy, crucial traits for races that last through day and night. He scored a crowning achievement by standing atop the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a testament to his focus and stamina. For over two decades, he was a familiar and capable presence for top privateer teams at circuits from Daytona to Spa, a driver engineers trusted to bring a car home fast and in one piece.

The latchkey kids. Raised during divorce, recession, and the end of the Cold War. Skeptical, self-reliant, media-literate. They invented indie culture, grunge, and the early internet — then watched the Boomers take credit.
Ralf was born in 1968, placing them squarely in the Generation X. The events that shaped this generation — economic uncertainty, the end of the Cold War, and the rise of personal computing — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
