A powerful ball-striker from England who reached the world's top three and became a formidable force in international team golf.
Paul Casey won the 2009 BMW PGA Championship and reached a career-high world ranking of third that same year. Born in Surrey, he played college golf at Arizona State University, turned professional in 2000, and built his early reputation on a powerful, aggressive swing. His 2009 Ryder Cup debut at Valhalla featured a 4-0-1 record, including a strong performance in foursomes. Injuries later slowed his momentum, but he returned to win on the PGA Tour in his late 30s. He joined LIV Golf in 2022. His legacy rests on world-class talent that produced results in the sport's biggest team event.

The latchkey kids. Raised during divorce, recession, and the end of the Cold War. Skeptical, self-reliant, media-literate. They invented indie culture, grunge, and the early internet — then watched the Boomers take credit.
Paul was born in 1977, placing them squarely in the Generation X. The events that shaped this generation — economic uncertainty, the end of the Cold War, and the rise of personal computing — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
