A Wonder Girls member who reinvented herself as the introspective solo artist Ha:tfelt, crafting deeply personal alt-R&B.
As Yeeun of the Wonder Girls, Park Ye-eun was the group's main keyboardist and a distinct vocal presence, contributing to their retro-pop reign. When the iconic group disbanded, she didn't simply continue as a pop idol. She boldly reinvented herself as Ha:tfelt (a portmanteau of 'Heart' and 'Felt'), an artist defined by raw, personal songwriting and a moody, alternative R&B sound. Her solo debut EP, 'Me?', was a stark departure, tackling themes of identity and anxiety with a sophisticated musical palette. Signing with the hip-hop label Amoeba Culture further cemented her artistic independence. As Ha:tfelt, she commands complete creative control, writing, composing, and producing music that is unflinchingly authentic, proving there is compelling life beyond the K-pop girl group system for those with a singular voice.
