A clinical striker whose golden boot-winning season in France propelled him to become a talisman for the Senegalese national team.
Moussa Sow's story is one of a late bloomer who exploded onto the European scene with a force that couldn't be ignored. Born in France to Senegalese parents, he honed his skills in the academy of Stade Rennais but struggled for consistent minutes early on. His career ignited after a move to Lille OSC in 2010. In his first season, he formed a devastating partnership with Eden Hazard and Gervinho, scoring 25 goals to win the Ligue 1 Golden Boot and, crucially, lead Lille to a stunning domestic double. That prolific year made him a star and earned him a big-money move to Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, where he continued to score important goals in league and European competition. For Senegal, he was a constant threat for a decade, his pace and finishing making him a key component of the Lions of Teranga's attack during a period of resurgence for the national side.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Moussa was born in 1986, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
