A versatile K-pop artist who helped define a generation's sound with Miss A before forging a multifaceted solo path.
Before the stage name Min, there was Lee Min-young, a performer whose drive was evident from her early training days at JYP Entertainment. She emerged as a central pillar of Miss A, a group that shot to immediate fame in 2010 with their bold, chic concept and the viral hit "Bad Girl Good Girl." As the group's main vocalist, Min's powerful voice provided the emotional anchor to their edgy tracks. When the group disbanded, she didn't retreat but reinvented herself, stepping into songwriting and solo releases that showcased a more personal, R&B-influenced style. Simultaneously, she built a presence on television, displaying a witty and relatable personality that expanded her reach far beyond the music charts, proving her durability in a fast-paced industry.
