An Italian racing driver who carved out a long and respected career in the demanding world of GT and endurance competition.
Michele Rugolo became a factory driver for Ferrari's AF Corse team, piloting GT machines in the world's toughest endurance races. He never reached Formula One, but found his calling in the International GT Open and Blancpain Endurance Series. Teams valued his smooth driving style and technical feedback; he could maintain pace over hours while preserving tires and fuel. Rugolo tackled the 24 Hours of Spa and the 24 Hours of Daytona, earning a reputation as a reliable co-driver who brought cars home intact. His career was built on partnerships with prestige manufacturers, most notably Ferrari, where his consistency made him a fixture in the cockpit through grueling stints. He specialized in the tactical arena of GT racing, where stamina and precision mattered more than raw speed.

Michele was born in 1982, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
