A dependable and gritty halfback whose journeyman career was defined by clutch performances in grand finals for two different clubs.
Jeff Robson was the ultimate professional journeyman, a halfback whose value was never fully captured by statistics or headlines. Possessing a reliable kicking game, solid defense, and unflappable composure, he was the steady hand coaches trusted in high-pressure situations. His career took him across multiple NRL clubs—Parramatta, Cronulla, the Warriors, and back to Parramatta—often as a mid-season reinforcement or a solution to an injury crisis. His defining moments, however, came on the biggest stage. In 2013, called into the Cronulla side late in the season, he formed a critical partnership in the halves to help steer the Sharks to their first-ever grand final. Later, in 2022, in his final professional season with Parramatta, he was a surprise inclusion on the bench for the grand final, a testament to the respect he commanded as a tough, team-first player who maximized every ounce of his ability.

Jeff was born in 1982, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
