A multi-talented Korean artist who evolved from group idol to a compelling solo performer with a hand in his own music.
Han Seung-woo's career is a narrative of patient evolution within the intense world of K-pop. He debuted as the main vocalist of VICTON in 2016, a group that initially struggled for recognition. His big break came in 2019 on the survival show 'Produce X 101,' where his mature vocals and leadership skills captivated audiences, landing him a spot in the temporary supergroup X1. Though that group's tenure was short-lived, it amplified his profile immensely. Returning to VICTON, he helped steer them to new commercial heights. Not content to just perform, Seung-woo began co-writing songs, demonstrating a growing artistic voice. This culminated in his solo debut in 2020 with the EP 'Fame,' where he presented a darker, more personal R&B-influenced sound. His path showcases a shift from a company-managed idol to an involved musician and actor, navigating the pressures of fame to carve out his own identity.
