A dominant defensive force whose relentless power and leadership anchored the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive line for over a decade.
Fletcher Cox didn't just play defensive tackle; he redefined the position's impact for the Philadelphia Eagles. Drafted in the first round out of Mississippi State, his combination of raw strength, surprising agility, and a motor that never quit made him the cornerstone of the Eagles' defense. Cox was the disruptive heart of a unit that peaked in the 2017 season, culminating in a Super Bowl LII victory where his constant pressure was instrumental. For twelve seasons, he was the consistent, feared presence in the middle, demanding double-teams and freeing up teammates to make plays. His six Pro Bowl selections and four All-Pro honors are testaments to a career built not on flash, but on sustained, brutal effectiveness that left offensive coordinators scheming in vain.

Fletcher was born in 1990, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
