Biography
FKA Twigs, born Tahliah Barnett, built her artistic language from a collision of disciplines. A classically trained dancer, she spent her late teens as a backup performer for major pop acts, an experience that informed her precise, often punishing, physicality. Her music emerged not as pop but as fractured art: glitchy electronic landscapes underpinning a voice that could be ethereal or guttural.
