Biography
Federico Vilar is the answer to a trivia question: which Argentine goalkeeper left a more profound mark in Mexico than in his homeland? Standing relatively short for his position, Vilar compensated with explosive athleticism, a commanding voice, and nerves of steel. He found his destiny with Atlante, where he became the emotional cornerstone of a team that punched above its weight.
