A wide receiver with surgical route-running who has led the NFL in touchdown catches for three different franchises.
Davante Adams, born in 1992 in California, rewrote the script on what a second-round draft pick could become. At Fresno State, he formed a prolific connection with quarterback Derek Carr, setting school records. Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2014, his early years were marred by drops, but through obsessive work, he transformed into Aaron Rodgers's most trusted target, a master of the release and the back-shoulder catch. His footwork, dubbed 'the Adams family release,' became instructional material. After eight seasons and multiple All-Pro selections in Green Bay, he forced a trade to his hometown Las Vegas Raiders to reunite with Carr, immediately leading the league in touchdowns again. A subsequent trade to the Los Angeles Rams in 2024 saw him achieve a unique trifecta: leading the NFL in receiving touchdowns for a third different team. Adams's career is a testament to technical precision and relentless self-improvement.
