A striker whose career is a story of resilience, battling back from two major knee injuries to become a consistent Premier League goal threat.
Callum Wilson's path to the top flight of English football was anything but straightforward. Emerging from Coventry City's academy, he made his name at Bournemouth, where his explosive pace and sharp finishing were instrumental in the club's historic rise from the Championship to the Premier League. His journey, however, has been punctuated by severe setbacks, including two ACL injuries that would have derailed lesser careers. Each time, Wilson returned with the same predatory instinct in the box, earning a move to Newcastle United and becoming a key figure in their resurgence. His reliable goal tally and intelligent movement have also seen him earn caps for the England national team, a testament to his quality and perseverance in a position where the competition is fierce.
