A tough, left-footed Dutch defender whose career spanned top European leagues and the intensity of a World Cup semifinal.
Bruno Martins Indi, born in Portugal but raised in the Netherlands, carved out a career defined by physicality and composure. His early promise at Feyenoord saw him become a fixture in the Eredivisie, his no-nonsense style catching the eye of the Dutch national team. He was part of Louis van Gaal's squad that finished third at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, starting in the famous semifinal against Argentina. A move to the English Premier League with Stoke City tested him in one of the world's most demanding competitions, followed by spells in Portugal and a return to his Dutch roots. While not always flashy, his reliability and strong left foot made him a valued asset for every club he represented.
