A versatile NBA wing defender whose journey took him from a Texas A&M standout to a champion on basketball's global stage.
Antoine Wright's basketball path was shaped by his defensive grit and adaptability. A standout at Lawrence Academy, he became a star at Texas A&M, where his all-around game made him a program legend and a lottery pick. Drafted by the New Jersey Nets, he carved out a five-year NBA role as a tough, defensive-minded wing, contributing to playoff teams in New Jersey and Toronto. His professional story, however, found its most triumphant chapter overseas. After his NBA tenure, Wright embraced international play, ultimately landing with the Shanghai Sharks in China, where his leadership and experience were instrumental in securing a Chinese Basketball Association championship.
