Biography
Annabel Goldie emerged from the world of Scottish law, a partner in a firm, before stepping into the political arena just as the Scottish Parliament was being reconvened. Her tenure as leader of the Scottish Conservatives, from 2005 to 2011, was defined by a canny realism.
