A Canadian pair skater who battled back from a career-threatening injury to reclaim the national title with a new partner.
Anabelle Langlois's skating story is one of resilience and partnership. Emerging as a promising young talent, she first found success with Patrice Archetto, capturing a silver medal at the 2002 Four Continents Championships. Her career trajectory shifted dramatically when a severe leg injury in 2006 threatened to end it entirely. Defying expectations, she returned to the ice, forging a new and successful partnership with Cody Hay. Their hard work culminated in a triumphant victory at the 2008 Canadian Figure Skating Championships, a testament to Langlois's determination. Though Olympic and world podium finishes remained elusive, her comeback narrative and technical skill solidified her place as a respected figure in Canadian skating. After retiring, she transitioned into coaching, passing on the lessons of perseverance learned on the ice.
