A hard-running young centre known for his powerful carries and defensive grit, forging his path in the NRL after a breakout debut with the Bulldogs.
Aaron Schoupp announced himself to the NRL with a bang. A product of the Illawarra Steelers junior system, he earned his first-grade debut for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in 2021 under difficult circumstances, with the team struggling near the bottom of the ladder. Schoupp provided immediate spark, not with flashy plays, but with a no-nonsense, physical style that belied his youth. He runs hard into defensive lines and tackles with a similar conviction, quickly becoming a fan favorite for his effort. After three seasons and over 50 games with the Bulldogs, he sought a fresh start, signing with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles for the 2024 season. At Manly, he aims to cement his place in a backline with established stars, offering reliability and punch. Schoupp's career is still in its ascent, built on the foundation of pure, uncomplicated effort.
