American nightclub owner and murderer of Lee Harvey Oswald (1911–1967)
Jack Leon Ruby was an American nightclub owner. He murdered Lee Harvey Oswald two days after the assassination of John F. Kennedy. He was born in Chicago, and operated nightclubs in Texas. According to the House Select Committee on Assassinations and journalists, Ruby had links to organized crime.
