A commanding Georgian defender who became a cult figure in British football before shaping the next generation as a coach.
Zurab Khizanishvili's journey took him from the pitches of Tbilisi to the heart of British football's defense. A tall, composed centre-back, he first made his name at Dundee in Scotland, where his calm authority made him a fan favorite and earned a move to the English Premier League with Blackburn Rovers. While never a flashy star, he was a reliable and intelligent presence for several UK clubs, including Newcastle United and Reading, amassing over a decade of experience in Britain's top divisions. After hanging up his boots, he returned to his roots, now applying his tactical knowledge as a coach for Georgia's youth national teams, helping to mentor the country's future football talent.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Zurab was born in 1981, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
