A towering and physically imposing defender who became a stalwart for Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukrainian national team for nearly a decade.
Yevhen Khacheridi's football story is one of late-blooming excellence. Born in Melitopol, he didn't join a professional academy until he was 17, initially focusing on his education. His breakthrough came at FC Metalurh Zaporizhzhia, where his immense height and surprising agility for his frame caught the eye of giants Dynamo Kyiv. In the capital, the center-back evolved from a raw talent into a defensive pillar. For eight seasons, his combative style and aerial dominance were constants in Dynamo's backline, helping the club secure league titles and consistent Champions League appearances. His commitment and leadership also made him a fixture for the Ukrainian national team, earning over 50 caps and representing his country at Euro 2012 and Euro 2016. Khacheridi's career was defined by a no-nonsense, physically demanding approach that made him a formidable obstacle for attackers across Eastern Europe.

Yevhen was born in 1987, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
