A shutdown cornerback whose physical style and three Pro Bowl seasons defined an era of stifling defense for the Minnesota Vikings.
Xavier Rhodes shut down opposing receivers as a First-Team All-Pro in 2017. Drafted in the first round out of Florida State University in 2013, he became the linchpin of Minnesota's secondary, using his size and speed to shadow the league's most dangerous threats each week. His peak season was a masterclass in cornerback play, routinely neutralizing offensive stars. Rhodes later moved between teams, but his time with the Vikings made him one of the most intimidating defensive backs of his generation, a key reason that defense was consistently among the NFL's best.
