A hard-nosed forward who developed from a Sydney Roosters prospect into a reliable contributor in the NRL's demanding engine room.
Vincent Leuluai's rugby league journey is one of gradual, physical maturation. Coming through the Sydney Roosters' system, the New Zealand-born forward had the build and the work ethic for the professional game, but needed time to refine his skills and find his niche. He made his NRL debut for the Roosters in 2020, initially providing energetic minutes off the bench. His game was built on direct running and solid defense, the unglamorous but essential work in the forwards. A move to the North Sydney Bears allowed him greater responsibility and consistent playing time, where he continued to develop his ball-playing and decision-making. Leuluai represents the type of player every team needs: a durable, committed professional who embraces the physical contest in the middle of the park and fulfills his role without fanfare.

Vincent was born in 1995, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
