A Georgian basketball powerhouse whose scoring and leadership have made him a EuroLeague star and a flag-bearer for his nation's hoops ambitions.
Tornike 'Toko' Shengelia emerged from the basketball hotbed of Georgia as a prodigy, turning professional as a teenager. His early promise took him to the NBA with the Brooklyn Nets, but it was upon his return to Europe that his game truly blossomed. Shengelia became a dominant force for Baskonia in Spain, evolving into a versatile forward who could score, rebound, and orchestrate offense. His peak season earned him a spot on the All-EuroLeague First Team, cementing his status among the continent's elite. Now a leader for FC Barcelona and the Georgian national team, Shengelia carries the hopes of a country on his shoulders, using his physical play and skill to put Georgian basketball firmly on the map.
