Tomáš Satoranský led the Czech national team to a sixth-place finish at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup, their greatest modern achievement. Born in 1991, the 6'7" playmaker developed in Prague, then Sevilla and FC Barcelona, becoming a EuroLeague star. He played for the Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls in the NBA before returning to Barcelona. As captain, he elevated every team through selfless, intelligent basketball. His court vision and poise defined his career.
