A second-generation Dutch film talent who has carved her own path both in front of the camera and behind it as a director.
Growing up in a Dutch cinematic dynasty—the daughter of producer Dave Schram and director Maria Peters—Tessa Schram was never far from a film set. Born in 1988, she naturally gravitated toward performance, building a steady career as an actress in Dutch television and film. Yet the family business in its fullest sense called to her. Schram expanded her role, stepping into directing with a clear, inherited understanding of visual storytelling. Her work bridges the practical knowledge of a performer with the overarching vision of a director, allowing her to guide actors with a particular empathy. While her family name opened doors, Schram's sustained output and dual expertise have firmly established her individual place in the Netherlands' creative landscape.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Tessa was born in 1988, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
