A fierce and physically imposing NFL tackle whose aggressive play and larger-than-life personality defined his nine-year tenure with the Tennessee Titans.
Taylor Lewan played football with a combative edge that made him impossible to ignore, both on the field and on the microphone. A standout at the University of Michigan, where he was a two-time All-American, he entered the NFL as a first-round pick in 2014, bringing a prototype left tackle's frame and a brawler's mentality to the Tennessee Titans. For nine seasons, he was a cornerstone of their offensive line, using his strength and footwork to protect quarterbacks like Marcus Mariota and Ryan Tannehill. His style of play, however, often flirted with the line of the rules, leading to penalties and fines that became part of his reputation. Off the field, Lewan cultivated a parallel career in media, co-hosting the popular 'Bussin' With The Boys' podcast, where his unfiltered and humorous takes on league life garnered a massive audience. Injuries, including a torn ACL in 2020, eventually slowed his career, leading to his retirement in 2023. He left the game as a three-time Pro Bowler remembered for his intensity, loyalty, and a persona that was equal parts protector and provocateur.

Taylor was born in 1991, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
