A Samoan rugby league centre with ice in his veins, known for delivering match-winning plays in the biggest games for club, state, and country.
Stephen Crichton announced himself as a big-game player from the moment he stepped into the NRL. Debuting for the Penrith Panthers in 2019, the tall, agile centre quickly became a fixture in one of the league's most dominant teams. His composure under pressure is his trademark; he famously kicked a last-minute, game-winning field goal in the 2021 NRL Grand Final, and then sealed the 2022 premiership with a decisive try. This clutch gene translated to representative football, where he became a mainstay for the New South Wales Blues in State of Origin and, proudly representing his heritage, a leader for the Samoan national team. In 2024, he took on a new challenge, moving to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs as a marquee signing and captain, tasked with reviving a storied club.

Stephen was born in 2000, placing them squarely in the Generation Z. The events that shaped this generation — social media, climate anxiety, and a pandemic — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
