A Norwegian pop force who writes anthems about youthful heartbreak and self-discovery with a clear, soaring voice that cuts through the noise.
Sigrid Solbakk Raabe, known simply as Sigrid, emerged from the small coastal town of Ålesund, Norway, with a sound that felt both intimately Scandinavian and universally pop. She first turned heads with the minimalist, defiant 'Don't Kill My Vibe' in 2017, a statement of intent from a young artist unwilling to be molded. Her 2019 debut album, 'Sucker Punch', was a burst of kinetic energy, pairing candid lyrics about the tumult of early adulthood with sparkling, synth-driven production. Rather than chasing trends, she built a distinct sonic world where vulnerability and explosive choruses coexist. Her subsequent work has chronicled her growth, moving from the rush of first experiences to more nuanced reflections on letting go and moving forward, all while maintaining a direct, emotional connection with a global audience that sees its own stories in her songs.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Sigrid was born in 1996, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
