The steady rhythmic backbone of Simple Plan, whose guitar work and harmonies helped define the pop-punk sound for a generation.
Sébastien Lefebvre's story is intertwined with the rise of Montreal's pop-punk explosion. As the rhythm guitarist for Simple Plan, he provided more than just chords; his backing vocals and stage energy were integral to the band's anthemic, emotionally charged sound. From the breakout angst of 'No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls' to their later, more polished albums, Lefebvre's consistency was a grounding force. Beyond the band's massive success, he carved out a personal creative space, releasing solo material that often leaned into acoustic and folk influences, showcasing a quieter side than the arena-ready pop-punk he helped pioneer. His connection with fans extended online through vlogs and engaging social media presence, reflecting an artist comfortable both in the collective roar of a band and the intimacy of a solo performance.

Sébastien was born in 1981, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
