A Finnish-Moroccan model who broke barriers by becoming Miss Finland and using her platform to champion multiculturalism and mental health awareness.
Born in Helsinki to a Finnish mother and a Moroccan father, Sara Chafak grew up navigating two distinct cultures, an experience that would later define her public voice. Her victory in the 2012 Miss Finland pageant was a significant moment, challenging conventional beauty standards in the Nordic country. At the Miss Universe competition that same year, she carried that message onto a global stage. Since her pageant days, Chafak has pivoted towards media and advocacy, working as a television host and becoming a candid voice on issues of identity, diversity, and the importance of psychological well-being, transforming from a titleholder into a thoughtful cultural commentator.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Sara was born in 1990, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
