A French-born goalkeeper who navigated the world of professional football while living in the long shadow of his more famous older brother.
Riffi Mandanda, born in 1992, pursued a professional football career as a goalkeeper with the unique challenge of sharing a surname with his elder brother, Steve Mandanda, a French international star. Coming through the youth ranks in France, Riffi earned youth caps for both France and the DR Congo, reflecting his dual heritage. His club journey was one of persistence, featuring spells in the French lower divisions with clubs like AS Cherbourg and SO Romorantin, and a stint in Belgium with RWS Bruxelles. While he never reached the pinnacles of his brother, Riffi's career represents the reality for countless professional athletes: a dedicated, decade-long grind in the less-glamorous tiers of the sport, defined by resilience and a pure commitment to the craft between the posts.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Riffi was born in 1992, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
