A Dutch striker whose career was a testament to persistence, navigating the demanding tiers of professional football in the Netherlands.
Rick ten Voorde scored 68 goals in the Eerste Divisie across spells at FC Den Bosch and Cambuur Leeuwarden. Born in 1991, he emerged from the NEC Nijmegen youth system but never played in the Eredivisie. His physical presence and instinct for goal made him a reliable striker in the Dutch second tier. A move to ADO Den Haag in 2013 proved difficult, yielding just one league goal. He continued his career at several clubs, including Emmen and RKC Waalwijk, before retiring. Ten Voorde's path reflects the reality of many professionals: steady work in competitive leagues rather than international fame.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Rick was born in 1991, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
