A local lad turned Premier League defender who has dedicated his post-playing career to coaching at his boyhood club.
Peter Ramage's story is one of loyalty and local pride. Born in Newcastle, he climbed through the ranks of the club's academy to realize every Geordie boy's dream: pulling on the black-and-white shirt at St. James' Park. His playing career as a dependable, no-nonsense defender was defined by grit, taking him from the Premier League with Newcastle to spells in the Football League with Queens Park Rangers, Crystal Palace, and others. After hanging up his boots, Ramage didn't wander far, channeling his deep understanding of the club's culture and defensive craft into coaching. He now works to mold the next generation of talent within Newcastle United's academy system, ensuring the pipeline of homegrown players he once represented remains strong.

Peter was born in 1983, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
