A versatile and dependable Turkish midfielder who carved out a long career as a key figure for several Süper Lig clubs.
Ömer Aysan Barış controlled Turkish midfield play for more than ten years. Altay S.K. developed him through its youth system, and his intelligence, technical skills, and flexibility allowed him to fill multiple central positions. He was not the most famous player on the roster, but his reliability made him essential at Trabzonspor, Kayserispor, and elsewhere. Managers counted on him to set the pace, disrupt opposing attacks, and connect defense to attack with clean, efficient passes. His national team appearances were few, but his club career proved the value of professionalism and tactical awareness. He accumulated hundreds of matches in Turkey's top division.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Ömer was born in 1982, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
