Biography
Milind Gunaji's journey to the screen was as unconventional as his roles. Before his 1993 film debut, he was a model and a trained mechanical engineer. His commanding physique and deep voice carved a niche, often casting him as the formidable antagonist or the intense character actor across more than 250 Hindi and Marathi films. Parallel to his cinematic work, Gunaji found a second calling as the host of the immensely popular Marathi travel show 'Bhatkanti,' where his genuine curiosity for India's landscapes resonated with viewers. This off-screen passion translated into official roles, with the Government of Maharashtra appointing him as its brand ambassador for forests and wildlife, and later for the hill station of Mahabaleshwar, blending his celebrity with environmental advocacy.
