A skilled Czech winger whose professional journey spanned the NHL, AHL, and a long-standing captaincy back in his homeland.
Michal Řepík, drafted in the second round by the Florida Panthers in 2007, brought offensive instinct and grit from Vlašim to North America. His NHL career consisted of 29 games spread over parts of three seasons with the Panthers and one game with the Phoenix Coyotes. The bulk of his time in North America was spent in the AHL, where he scored consistently and earned respect with the Rochester Americans and Portland Pirates. In 2014, he returned to the Czech Extraliga with HC Sparta Praha. There he blossomed into a leader, eventually becoming team captain. His work ethic and clutch scoring made him a fixture for Sparta, embodying the veteran presence that defines European club hockey.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Michal was born in 1988, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
