An Australian hardcore vocalist whose fierce energy fronted influential metal bands before shaping careers from behind the scenes as a manager.
Michael Crafter fronted I Killed the Prom Queen in the 2000s, bringing visceral intensity to Australian metalcore. After leaving he launched Confession, another heavy band. Later he founded Destroy All Lines, an artist management company that guides other metal acts. His career moved from screaming onstage to running the business side of the industry. Crafter's understanding of the music ecosystem allowed him to thrive in both roles.
