A pairs skater whose technical precision and fierce partnership with Eric Radford made Canada a dominant force in the sport.
Meagan Duhamel approached pairs skating with the discipline of an athlete and the heart of a competitor. Teamed with Eric Radford, she formed one of the most successful Canadian pairs in history. Theirs was not a partnership of flashy theatrics, but of breathtaking consistency and daring technical difficulty. Duhamel was known for her rock-solid side-by-side triple jumps, a rarity in pairs, and their programs were complex puzzles executed with cool confidence. Together, they stood atop the world championships podium twice and collected a complete set of Olympic medals, their team gold in 2018 being a crowning achievement. Duhamel's career is a testament to the power of a perfectly matched partnership built on mutual trust and a shared obsession with getting every detail right.
