A durable and versatile Belgian racing veteran who has conquered everything from Le Mans prototypes to NASCAR in Europe.
Marc 'The Goose' Goossens represents the backbone of international motorsport: the skilled, adaptable professional who races anything, anywhere. Hailing from Belgium, Goossens began in single-seaters before finding his true calling in endurance and touring car racing. His resume is a map of premier series: he was a fixture in the FIA GT Championship, tackled the 24 Hours of Le Mans multiple times in GT and prototype classes, and became a stalwart in the VLN series at the Nürburgring. In his later career, he embraced the chaos of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, becoming a title contender and a respected elder statesman. Beyond the cockpit, Goossens has leveraged his experience as a manager, most notably guiding young rally champion Kalle Rovanperä in his circuit racing pursuits, proving his expertise extends to nurturing the next generation of talent.
1965–1980
The latchkey kids. Raised during divorce, recession, and the end of the Cold War. Skeptical, self-reliant, media-literate. They invented indie culture, grunge, and the early internet — then watched the Boomers take credit.
Marc was born in 1969, placing them squarely in the Generation X. The events that shaped this generation — economic uncertainty, the end of the Cold War, and the rise of personal computing — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
