A Russian pairs skater whose fierce intensity and technical brilliance defined a golden era, marked by Olympic glory and a potent partnership.
Ksenia Stolbova won a silver medal in pairs skating at the 2014 Sochi Olympics with partner Fedor Klimov. Born in 1992, she brought aggressive athleticism to the ice, emphasizing powerful jumps and daring elements over soft romance. Their free skate to 'Addams Family' earned the silver and contributed to Russia's team gold. Stolbova executed rock-solid side-by-side jumps with a fearless demeanor. Later partnerships and injuries preceded her retirement. She redefined the potential for power and personality in pairs discipline during her competitive years.
