A rock-solid Greek defender whose unwavering loyalty and leadership made him a club legend at PAOK Thessaloniki for over a decade.
Kostas Giannoulis's story is one of quiet, unwavering commitment in an era of constant player movement. The native of Kavala began his professional career with Skoda Xanthi before making the defining move of his life to PAOK in 2004. For the next 13 years, Giannoulis was the defensive bedrock of the team. He wasn't the flashiest player, but his positioning, aerial ability, and fierce will to win embodied the spirit of the club and its passionate fans. He captained PAOK through periods of turmoil and triumph, leading them to a Greek Cup victory in 2017 that ended a 14-year trophy drought. His career is a reminder that legacy isn't always built with transfers to glamour clubs, but through steadfast service and becoming synonymous with a team's identity.
