A Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs stalwart who transitioned from reliable club fullback to the coach tasked with steering the team through a turbulent era.
Kevin Moore's life is woven into the fabric of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. The son of a club legend, Peter Moore, he grew up in the team's heartland and lived the dream of pulling on the blue and white jersey as a first-grade fullback and winger in the 1980s and early '90s. Not the flashiest star, he was known as a dependable, tough competitor who understood the club's culture from the inside out. After his playing days, he moved into coaching, working his way up through the Bulldogs' lower grades and assistant roles with a meticulous, studious approach. In 2009, he was appointed head coach, taking over a team in need of stability. His tenure was marked by a methodical focus on defense and discipline, guiding the Bulldogs to a preliminary final in his first season. While his time as head coach concluded after three seasons, Moore remains a definitive figure at Belmore—a local kid who gave his all to the club as both a player and a coach during periods of significant change.

The latchkey kids. Raised during divorce, recession, and the end of the Cold War. Skeptical, self-reliant, media-literate. They invented indie culture, grunge, and the early internet — then watched the Boomers take credit.
Kevin was born in 1965, placing them squarely in the Generation X. The events that shaped this generation — economic uncertainty, the end of the Cold War, and the rise of personal computing — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
