A durable Belarusian cyclist who conquered mountain stages in Grand Tours before his career ended under a doping cloud.
Kanstantsin Sivtsov carved out a respected, decade-long career in the punishing world of professional road cycling. Known for his climbing ability and consistency, he was a reliable lieutenant for team leaders in major races. He first gained wider attention by winning the white jersey as best young rider at the 2008 Giro d'Italia. Sivtsov became a key domestique for Team Sky during their rise, supporting Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome. He recorded stage wins in races like the Tour de Romandie and consistently finished high in the general classification of week-long stage races. His career, however, ended abruptly and controversially in 2018. After retiring, it was revealed he had been provisionally suspended for a positive test for EPO, a stark and disappointing conclusion for a rider known for his quiet professionalism on the bike.

The first digital natives. Grew up with the internet, came of age during 9/11 and the 2008 crash. Highly educated, deeply indebted, slower to marry and buy houses. Redefined work, identity, and what it means to be an adult.
Kanstantsin was born in 1982, placing them squarely in the Millennials. The events that shaped this generation — the internet revolution, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis — shaped the world they entered and the choices available to them.
