A tenacious defensive guard whose hustle and determination carved out a professional career across the NBA, its developmental league, and European courts.
Kadeem Allen's basketball journey is a testament to persistence. A standout in high school in North Carolina, his college path began at Hutchinson Community College, where he was a junior college star, before transferring to the University of Arizona. Under coach Sean Miller, he transformed into one of the nation's premier perimeter defenders, known for locking down opponents with relentless energy. Drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2017, Allen's NBA opportunities were limited, but he became a force in the G League, earning Defensive Player of the Year honors. His professional career has since spanned brief NBA stints with the Celtics and Knicks to a successful shift to European basketball, where his defensive intensity and leadership continue to define his play in Italy's competitive leagues.
